Geeta Pitroda, born April 1963 makes Bright and Vibrant Oils Paintings portraying Traditional Indian Art, picturesque Landscapes and Seascapes. Some of the key art work themes include "Vatsalya" (Motherly Love), "Streets Scenes", "Kutchh" (an area in the State of Gujarat-India), "50 forms of Lord Ganesha" (a Hindu Deity), "Aesthetic Vision of London" & various Abstract illustrations.
"I use a fusion of various work techniques & textures such as bold & bright oil colours, knifework, "˜abhla' (mirror like imitations that can be found on traditional Indian clothing) and marble dust to add an exquisite embossed effect and add originality and a cultural vibe to the art work." - Geeta Pitroda
