Gerhard Gibson

Born January 28, 1987, passion and creativity for Art since youth only to develop a career as an Artist at the age of 27, detached experience during childhood created a deception in identity. through the influence of political religious and social deception that contradicted my freedom and nature thus creating the pathway to addiction and destruction and eventual salvation from my own personas.

Whether coincidence or an act of fate. The intentional creative deception of my unconscious to the self-destructive impulsiveness made my desires my conviction and my intentions lay the foundation of how events conspired and adapt to its design.

Only through the stroke of the pen, the application of ink onto paper can I construct the architecture and design of the metaphysical imaginative mind and liberate my identity and find freedom within me. With the concept of black and white an almost empty void of possibilities to my palette evoke emotion and beauty in the absence of color.

Figurative in multiple aspects concerning the influence of our generation, the obstacles we face and the perceptive paradigm of singular indifferences that persist through history between the symbolic perspective of black and white.
