Guido Artista

I was born in Chile a country located in the south of the world. Since I entered school, I stood out artistically, to the point that the nun who was the head teacher suggested to my mother that she take me to take art classes at the School of Fine Arts.
I began my artistic studies in parallel at the age of 8 and at the age of 16 I graduated as a “Teenage Artist” with a prominent child-adolescent artistic career, winning in those years several art competitions at the national and international level. Highlighting among all the following:

1991 Silver Medal, Shankar`s International Children`s Competition/ New Delhi, India.
1991 Gold Medal, The 23rd International Children`s Art Exhibition/ Tokyo, Japan.

I decided to study Architecture. Them work in different areas, public and private organizations. Until 2008 I had the opportunity to study a Master Degreee in Barcelona with a subsidy from the Spanish State. It was when I decided to participate again in a painting contest, in which I obtained 2nd Place. From there I began to develop a strategy to be able to dedicate myself to painting, this time by my own means. This is how I returned to Barcelona in 2019 with this goal in mind, leaving years of profession behind.
