Hampus Alexander Bjorklund

Hampus Björklund (1980) is a photographer and visual artist educated at Brooks Institute of Photography in California. Former civil engineer that decided to change direction in life and pursue his passion for photography and visual art. Previously he has been selected to showcase his work in exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, Milan and London. He recently relocated to Lisbon, Portugal, where he continues his work as a portrait photographer and visual artist.

I find inspiration in people I meet and places I visit. Through the camera I can observe the world around me and sometimes steal moments and keep them as they were. But sometimes the capture will only become a piece in the creation of something else. Technology allows me to visually reconstruct images to the desire of my imagination, always using the beauty of reality as my base.
