Sa-An Ha

"Island", the work of artist Ha Sa An, is a work that reinterprets the soil of 'ceramic' in a new way of expression by melting the traces of the artist's life and thoughts. The material that dismantled ‘ceramic’ was reborn as a creation that connects tradition and modernity on the canvas through a traditional creative tool (hand). The name was coined because the 'colored sand' stretched out on the canvas resembles a floating "island". It is a work presented in a formative language through images. In particular, due to the nature of the work that can feel the texture, even a child who does not know how to write or a blind ear can appreciate the work by touch, which lowers the threshold of art.

The "Island" series consists of flat and installation works such as 'We what peace', 'Love&Happy', and 'Love your self', and can be interpreted in various ways depending on the relationship between materials and expression methods and content and nature.
