Helena Wawrzeniuk

I’m a painter and designer based in Warsaw. In my work I try to tell, in simplest way, about the most basic things. I paint mainly from nature, step by step simplifying forms. The key to my works is observation.
In my profile you will find both figurative paintings, as well as abstraction.
Most of my figurative painting, like landscape for example are the painting exercises, before I paint abstraction.

2016 – „Sounds from the House” -realization of sound installation, Ochota District in Warsaw; realized thanks to Scholarship from Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland
2015 - „City's Mirages. Summer" - realization of light installation, Grochów District in Warsaw
2015 - „Space as a musical instrument” - realization of installation in the public space in Warsaw; installation realised as a part of Festival “Skarpa Rewelacje”, organized by Fundacja Culture Shock in cooperation with National Museum in Warsaw
2015 - „Spring” - realization of light installation in the public space, Gocław District in Warsaw
2014 - realization of multimedia installation „Night Mirage” within Periferias Festival in Huesca; installation was realised as a part of Festival „Park in Progress”, organized by Municipality of Huesca and Pépinières Européennes pour Jeunes Artistes
2014 - realization of three multimedia installations in Mirów District in Warsaw; istalations were realized whithin the project „Fatamargony Miejskie” with the helo of Fundacja Culture Shock
