I'm an artist, art student and Gallery assistant at the Brick Lane Gallery.
I predominatly paint.
My most recent work is based around an abstract pattern that I use images of cancer cells as a reference for.
It's all about colour for me. I like to make things beautiful, it's this antithesis between this ugly idea of sinister, deathly cancer cells, and this beautifully colourful and vibrant image, which is how cancer cells are actually represented by scientist- google it and see.
There's too much ugliness in the world- I'm on a rampage to make the world a mmore beautiful place.

I like reflection in my paintings, I like to varnish things, I like to use metal gloss paints that have a high level of reflection.

I'm playing with the idea at the moment of the viewer being able to see their own fractured image within my paintings as they stand and explore the flat plains of colour.
