HORIN
Born in 1991, Seoul, Republic of Korea
The Yearning series expresses longing for forgotten lives through the form of a tiger. Once present in mythology and art, tigers have now faded even from their own lands. By covering discarded materials with natural fibers, the sculptures highlight environmental pollution and biodiversity loss, delivering a message of hope for what is disappearing.
