Philippe Hugonnard (Born 1972, Geneva, Switzerland) makes unique photos and mixed media artworks.
His photos establish a link between the urban's reality and that imagined by him.
These photographic works focus on concrete questions that determine our existence.
By emphasizing architecture from around the world, he aims to render the world’s enormous complexity into simple forms, to awaken the viewers’ imagination and have them build their story from the clues and elements captured in the image.
His works are characterized by the use of several digital media which make it possible to draw the eye to the essential part of art photography.
By exploring the concept of landscape in a nostalgic way, he investigates the dynamics of landscape, including the manipulation of its effects.
