Ignacio Gordils Wallis

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1965 in an environment surrounded by architects and musicians. Good influence from my grandparents, parents, uncles and brothers.

From an early age I started piano studies and at the age of 16 I entered the Faculty of Architecture of the Central University of Venezuela, I obtained an honorable mention and a Geometric Symbol that I discovered in my graduate thesis that would become my banner, my source or creative tool from which my multidisciplinary work was going to emerge, my life ... In fact, I have spent more than thirty years forging my artistic language based on this symbol, its lines describe 9 aspects of sacred geometry, forming a path, a unit that expands itself without limits, showing said symbol as a tool for creative participation, from which possibilities for developments in the visual, constructive, performing, auditory and playful arts can emerge. Its symbolic, numerical, angle content, geometric proportions, plasticity, etc. They give it an integral connotation, emanating not only of aesthetic balance, but of an evident and overlapping characte...
