Igor Goncharov

Earlier I used to live in a big city and now I live and work in Siberia, with its taiga, mountains, clean rivers and fresh air.
In 30 years I have developed my own style, which makes the paintings recognizable, and art critics call it "pictorial graphic" or "graphic painting". My works are expressive and dynamic. During my student years I was fond of music and I was the drummer in a rock band. And now I try to transfer musicality and rhythm to the canvas by means of painting. I work with oil, less often with acrylic and pastel.
I am sure that art should ennoble the world and the universe, inspire and encourage people to prove creativity.

Since 1991 the first personal exhibitions were held in Amsterdam, New York, Vienna, Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg and in other cities of the world and Russia.
Since 2005 me and my friends, artists Sergei Torop (Vissarion) and Nikolai Onishchenko, took part in the project of traveling exhibition 'Spiritual Path and Art', which was held with great success in 29 cities of Europe and Russia.
