Ikumi Nagasawa was born in Tokyo, Japan, 1980, and graduated from Joshibi University graduate school of art and design, Major in Painting.
Since 2007 Tokyo based artist Ikumi Nagasawa has been keeping her painting shows actively in Tokyo and Shanghai. Recent years she spread her activity in Switzerland and Hong Kong, etc. Her paintings, with sense of loveliness but also showing sorrow or loneliness motif, depict widely evaluated contemporary young generation.
