While painting I feel passion and a sense of total fullness. On my way to express myself, strong, intense colors began to emerge that somehow define me.
I think the highlight of my work are the gazes, perhaps they arise from my inner search. They can be warm, dreamy, disturbing, defiant, lost, tormented, loving, but they all express and transmit something that moves. My intention through my art is for the spectator to reveal its inner mystery through the gaze.
My portraits are partly captivating because of their large format size. I use acrylics and oil on canvas painted with a spatula. This allows me to give depth and texture to the works.
