The subject of my paintings comes from the emotional connections between people.
I collect the stories of others that resonate with my personal stories and visualize them with a metaphoric twist through the prism of a woman’s mind. My intention is to open a dialog with my viewer to discuss the issues in the society we are living. Through my art I am trying to reconnect with myself and with people around me that are looking for the reclamation of their social positions and want their voices to be heard. My paintings are referring to complex issues using simple imagery that could be understood by everybody. I am using personal memories of the inspirational moments as the entries into the stories I am telling with my art.
