Isaac Cruz Macias

I started my career 7 years ago drawing humorous cartoons, I was attracted by the satire and the critical load of the medium, although over time I realized that the main subject of criticism was me, that is why my painting represents a journey of introspection where I constantly question myself who I am, why and how the medium determines me. When you grow up in a city as big as Mexico, you can see many things but the ones that strike me most are the splashes of color that sporadically sprout from the flowers that stand firm against the common gray of the buildings, so in my work You also find flowers and birds to which my grandmother inherited a great love.
