Iulia Pana

Iulia Pană (born in Constanța -Romania ) is a poet and visual artist, cultural journalist and short films producer.

She graduated Communication at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration in Bucharest - MA in advertising, she graduated Fine Arts and later she received an MA in visual arts from “Ovidius” University in Constanța.
Now, she is doctoral candidate, University of Bucharest, Center of Excellence in the Study of Image.

In 2014 she was selected to be one of the writers in residence at Ledig House – Omi Art Center New York and participated in the BookExpo of America. Iulia’s experiments with sound, poetry, and colors have brought her to an intriguing artistic manifesto called Phonopictopoesia or Future sound of poetry (painting, performance, installation, photography).
She is a member of the Romanian Writers' Union and the Romanian Fine Artists Unions.
She published 6 volumes of poetry.
