Ivan Zames

Ivan - russian contemporary artist. Create his own style - postindustrial expressionism - this is a philosophical understanding of contemporary reality around us in its various forms and factors, from himself to infinity. In other words, modern existentialism, starting with the phrase "I am" or the philosophical statement of Rene Descartes "I am, which means I am."
This style does not accept classic shapes and materials. Affects a person through understanding the general concept (visual empathy, materials, reminiscence, and so on). And also, it includes video, audio, digital format, thereby expanding the digital horizon of the possibilities of the post-industrial society.
Arriving at a new place, in a new city or country, the artist lays his own routes to explore the new area. Ivan explores the area, finding locations or abandoned buildings that the average tourist would not go to. Why is he doing this? - In 2018, in the Indian state of Goa, Ivan held his first solo exhibition with the support of the Trip bar-restaurant.
- In January 2019, at The Spartan Poker & Posh Entertainment Calendar Launch Party Goa, an exhibition of Ivan's paintings was held with the support of Posh Entertainment India.
- In July 2019, and then in August of the same year, with the support of Goa TV and ASIA EXPERIENCE II, Ivan held two solo exhibitions, on the roof of the former Krasny Oktyabr factory.
- In December 2019, with the support of Reggae Rules The Beach at the luxury hotel Riva Beach Resort in the Indian state of Goa, Ivan presented a series of paintings "Save d Rave".
- In January 2020, on the street side of the wall of the restaurant, Ivan created a mural, in collaboration with the bar-restaurant "Borsch", in which he later held an exhibition of his paintings.
