Izhak Weinberg was born in Krakow in December 1938. His first years were spent in Krakow Ghetto, running through Europe during the war and he also spent 180 days in Bergen Belzen concentration camp. He came to Israel as an Orphan in 1945.
He started painting later in life, studied art and participated in many sole and group exhibitions. The art freed his mind from the horror of his childhood and helped him to express his feelings. His paintings are colorful and full of joy of life!
