Jackie Gale

Jackie is an award winning British textile artist who creates modern textile artworks rich in texture and pattern using a wide range of recycled materials including fabric, vintage maps and twine to name a few. What makes her work unique is the fine detail which engages viewers to look further. Her land and seascapes are inspired by the beaches and towns local to her in Devon where she lives but landmarks from famous cities around the world also fire her imagination. Her work appeals to people who love life, colour and creativeness. Her colourful quirky style comes from a desire to create art that makes people feel happy. Since turning professional in 2013 her work has attracted wide interest nationally and internationally. In 2015 she was awarded Best Up and Coming Published Artist by the Fine Art Trade Guild. Her work is available as originals and limited edition giclee prints.
