Since childhood, Jalinka Gressmann has been captivated by the world's tales and visual richness, from refined eclectic aesthetics to offbeat vintage and the unconventional.

As a mixed-media artist, she creates visual stories infused with myths, dreams, and the extraordinary. Her work is driven by synesthetic curiosity; she gets lost in searching for meaning, following associations and research that live beneath the surface of every piece.

She works through play and experimentation, absorbing the world through all her senses until concepts emerge through the act of creating.

Working with abstract and figurative elements, she layers symbolism, imagery, and objects from nature and everyday life, composing like a puzzle, like life.

With a background in interior design, sculpture, and fine arts, her practice continues to evolve, always growing, always transforming.

Her greatest hope is that her work acts as a mirror, reflecting what we sometimes forget: that we are seen, worthy, and that connection was never lost, only forgotten.
