Javier Mariscus

I met Javier in 2008 in Goteborg, Sweden. He was working on Konstepidemin, at the residence of artists Pépinières européenes pour jeunes artistes. I was at the Faculty of Philosophy, investigating the connection between cold weather and the Germanic and Scandinavian philosophy. We struck up a friendship around discussions and art theory, philosophy and history. Since then, we have collaborated on various projects.

Javier works because free from loose concepts and ideas. The average does not justify final message, which uses the technique in an implicit manner, thus explaining the project to take a critical and reflective contingent. I find it interesting artists working in this way, discharging the cold-like aura Brea- the creative process refers to a demonstration of the final development. "Any complete realization is disappointing," adds the while ensueña bikkhu. His works are polyhedral course, difficult to fit or pigeonhole, a quality sought in these times in the realm of art, and very few manage sincerely.
