My work comes from memory and experience a lot of it from childhood spent in Finland, former Yugoslavia, Holland and various places in N and S America. But it's usually a contemporary issue or event which triggers the image.
I like the white space of icons in contrast to the depth of colour and form, and the way organic edge plays against hard edge in drawing and painting. Using object outlines of tools and objects provide interesting outlines because they often have 'attitude'.
