Jeff Terzi

Having grown up in a very rural area of New Jersey and spending most of my childhood roaming the woods by myself. I began to see the whole of nature as a living organism. When I began photographing landscapes I found it was easy to decipher the patterns that exist all around and capture the breath of the natural world. My outdoor work reflects that childhood experience, usually solitary, sometimes melancholy, often with a sense of mythical spirits whispering unseen in the wilderness. Always trying to discover something new and recapture that sense of wonder.

When I shoot in the studio, I enjoy conveying the playfulness and passion of models in a pin-up style. Sometime in a traditional wholesome way, sometime with a more alternative twist, always fun, sexy, and iconic.

Graduated with honors in 1997 from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Photography.
