As a graphic designer and art director for more than 30 years, the need to (re)do manual things pushed me to take a workshop.
Attracted by texture and movement, I discovered alcohol inks in 2020. A rather particular technique which is accomplished by moving the surface on which you paint, horizontally.
I use lightweight concrete panels which give a less smooth and less "perfect" result than canvas or paper but which I find so contemporary.
Fluidity is the basis of the technique, which is why my paintings are named after rivers.
Unlike paint, inks are liquid, they flow, move and then dry. Each creation is a surprise, unique...
Work on commission with choice of colours and size of the support.
