Artist Statement — Jennifer Jones 🎨

My work is a conversation between healing and memory, between what is spoken and what is carried silently. Each painting is a layered map of emotions, reflecting the spaces where we lose ourselves, recover ourselves, and confront what has been hidden.

I am fascinated by the quiet revelations that come when we stop searching for answers and instead allow ourselves to listen — to our stories, our wounds, and the echoes they leave behind. My titles, textures, and statements are breadcrumbs, inviting those who are willing to look deeper to find meaning within the spaces between what’s said and unsaid.

I create for the in-between moments — where recovery meets transformation, where shadows hold truth, and where the act of witnessing becomes a mirror. My goal is not to tell you what to see, but to invite you to find yourself reflected in the work.

Through my art, I hope to remind viewers that even in the unknown, there is always a path forward — and sometimes, the greatest revelations are found in silence
