Using wood, hardware, wire, rope and motors, I create kinetic assemblages that move and make sound. I sometimes think of myself as a choreographer, except instead of creating movement for human dancers, my dancers are wood and hardware and rope.
I am inspired by motion I see in the world around me, and my goal is to make pieces that appear to be organic and have a life of their own. My sculptures are powered either by motors or by interaction with the viewer.
