Muri’s surrealistic works are what one of his mentors, Salvador Dali describes as “handmade photographs,” visible in the galleries of wealthy connoisseurs and Corporate institutions.
He deploys with exquisite sophistry, an unusual interpretation of themes, meticulously rendered with accurate precision.
He is also listed the International Art Repository of the SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTE of WHO is WHO in African Art.

Women recure in his works and Adejimi’s ode to womanhood is the eclectic “PIROUETTE: STUDY, BALLET DANCER” c.1986. His deft transmogrification of a functional utensil, an opener, to a lyrical whirl of a ballerina, part human and part corkscrew... adorned with symbolic ornaments; waist beads, a white handkerchief and horsehair symbolising peace and authority...tapering her beautiful legs into a corkscrew! The symbolography is a hidden revelation: A woman is God’s divine opener, the gateway to life!
