Jj Poff

My name is JJ Poff, I'm a self-taught artist. Largely my work is figurative leaning surreal and often includes stylized portraiture. A middle school art teacher introduced me to surrealism, it resonated with me and guided my journey as an artist. My style evolves as I learn and explore different mediums such as acrylic, oil, watercolor, ink, charcoal and colored pencil. On the horizon, there's digital painting and mixed media. Currently, I'm painting large-format raw canvas with acrylic stain.
