Jose Maro Alvarado

Born in Texas; I come from a migrant farmworker background. I am an artist working in SF and living in Sonoma County. I do sculpture, drawing, painting and lithography. My work is inspired by childhood experiences, dreams and books I have been reading around the topics of memory, history and metaphysics. Also continuing with the gum arabic paintings on aluminum, canvas and paper.
