As a native New Yorker, I am drawn to organic forms, and look to the natural world for ideas. A lot of the results in my work depend on technique. Using two mediums with a reliance on process, the work is very deliberate and takes many steps to produce in both ceramics and etching, two of my preferred mediums. The inspiration is often from my photography, my first love, As a graphic designer, I am intrigued by shape, composition and color, all are important elements in my work.
