I' am an Belgian independant art professional. I make contemporary paintings, drawings and collages.
My work is represented by gallery S&H De Buck in Ghent, gallery 'Zwart Huis' in Knokke, Albus Lux gallery in Roosendaal and Ververs gallery in Amsterdam.

"The paintings of Johan Clarysse want to be enigmatic in a transparant way. Concepts of identity construction, communication and non-communication are key, along with the drives and aspirations of the condition humaine. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Louvain and Bruges, and in Philosophy at the University of Louvain.
