George Sielski

I've spent my life doing a variety of things,US Army soldier, construction worker, business owner, GM for Marriott and Sodexo Management Services, High School Art and History teacher. I have a BFA in Painting from the University at Buffalo. I retired from teaching in the Spring of 2013.
I picked up my brushes again in Autumn 2013. For me painting is something magical. I enjoy the spontaneous results from putting my thoughts into immediate imagery, I could call it spontaneous realism but Impressionism is adequate. I paint things I've experienced and believe in. I believe that creating art is a relationship between God and artist, and it should be more God than artist. Each creation is a reflection John 3:16.
