John Most, poet, was born in Covington, Virginia on April 11, 1977. Most attended the University of Virginia before earning a PhD from the European Graduate School in Poetics. At EGS, Most studied under Avital Ronell, Giorgio Agamben, Jean-Luc Nancy. John has taught courses at Virginia Commonwealth University and the European Graduate School. John is the author of Atelier, Field, Timetable, and Persephone. His most recent book of poems is What Thoughts.
