Jorman Gutiérrez

Artist Jorman Gutiérrez was born in Colombia in 1994.

Jorman discovers his early art calling at the age of 5, in the leafy mountainous jungle of coffee axis Armenia, capital of the department of Quindío, in western Colombia, after a devastating earthquake that destroys his hometown. He then begins to paint devoutly and does not receive any formal artistic education until the age of 15.

He specializes in both detailed watercolors and large format oil painting and explores many other artistic formats and materials.

Since 2013 he has illustrated several books, including some related to children's pedagogy, and he directs various drawing, watercolor and oil painting seminars and intensive workshops related to visual art.


He resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina, since 2014.
Since 2018, he is part of ZINK industrias creativas, as exclusive artist, under the support of road manager Cristina Santa Cruz.

At the age of 15, he starts his specialization in Graphic Design at the Universidad de Ibagué, and at the same time he consecrates his artistic training in the workshops of Darío Ortiz Robledo (Colombia).
Later, he is granted a scholarship with Guillermo Roux (Argentina), for two intensive years. He also assists to various and renowned workshops in Buenos Aires.

Participates in various individual and collective exhibitions in Argentina, Ecuador, México and Colombia (Luis Perlotti Museum, Guillermo Roux Workshop, Konex Cultural City, MobArt, Palacio de Cristal, Casa de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Galería Ramón Alva de la Canal, among others).
