Josanne Glass

Born in Maine, raised in northern California, I settled in Utah as an adult for the skiing.

I worked in business as a human resources professional for nearly thirty years ending my career as a vice president for an international firm. Although I studied art before leaving the corporate world, I came to art as an avocation late in the game. My lifelong passion for fibers first led me to weaving on a manual floor loom. Years later, I painted with a well known and honored Utah artist. I went to her studio on a weekly basis - a study and practice that lasted five years. My current techniques however, have been largely self-taught through experimentation.
My work is in private collections in the following states:
California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Utah
