Relationships are curated by verbal communication. At work, at home, at the park, at the bar, online - all of these environments are threaded together by talking and words.

I hope to make the viewer feel something intense, without any written communication or verbal context. The raise of an eyebrow, the purse of lips, eyelids spread wide; these nonverbal signals are lost across webs of computer screens and chat bubbles.

My art pulls the viewer back to the present moment, back to the human experience of feeling. Weaving human archetypes with fantastical themes invites the viewer to see something unexpected - and to experience emotions that are so often pushed aside for rational thinking and talking.
