I layer latex pours with acrylic brushwork, looking for breathtaking passages on which to build depth and drama. Most importantly, as the painting nears completion, I watch for the moment when its resonant spiritual space opens up like a hologram and I see something thrilling come to life that I've never seen before.
Beauty - joy - freedom - ease - surprise - warmth - richness - presence - harmony: these are reasons I paint. May you sense them in the artwork.
