Kamila Hyo

Born in Brno, Czech Republic in 1978, I now live and work in Switzerland, where I emigrated after the fall of communism. My art journey began in 2020, fueled by a lifelong passion for creativity and a fascination with the timeless works of old masters. Working primarily with oil, my paintings explore dimensionality, light, and color, while weaving emotional narratives that invite viewers to connect on a deeper level. Each piece tells a story, capturing moments that transcend time and transform the unseen into the tangible.

I originally trained in the field of nursing, but art has always been a steadfast part of my life. Early on, I was introduced to the world of painting by my mother, a talented artist. Her passion and knowledge sparked my own enthusiasm and inspired me to pursue my artistic path.
