Kamil Niewinski

Kamil Niewiński is famous for his portraits. In his works, he mainly refers to human and animal figures, combining them with mythical and Slavic symbols. His works show love for nature and many years of observation of plants and animals. He often touches on the subject of old songs, legends and fairy tales, presenting them in a modern and contemporary way. He weaves non-choronormative threads into traditional stories. Artist draws his inspiration from queer art.

2022 - Individual exhibition "My Lost World" in Bastion Kultury in Gdańsk;
2019 - Tandem exhibition "Body Observatory" at the Artformator Gallery in Gdańsk;
2018-now - Diploma defense combined with the individual exhibition "POILISAUROS" presented in the main hall at the Faculty of Biology of the University of Gdańsk - permanent exhibition;
2018 Collective exhibition "Rzizajn - the border between sculpture and design" at Galeria 18A in Warsaw
2018 co-creation of the "Pink Dick" artistic group and co-creation of the "imponderabilia" exhibition on Tamka Island in Wrocław;
2017 - Individual exhibition "Cabinet of a Personal Artist" at GALERIA SZTUKI PRO ARTE in Zielona Góra;
​2017 - Individual exhibition "Reconstruction of Death" at the New Era Art Gallery in Krakow.
