The main theme of my paintings is a world of imaginations, feelings, illusions-lost and illusions found-desires fulfilled or unfulfilled.The primary tool of expression is colour.
My abstract " form of imaginary " offers boundless imaginations for all of us. In my paintings I am constantly trying to marry the components of chaos and order which are present in every moments of lived experience.
Every painting is there for a story, which throw the colours and symbols become alived again and brings back messages long forgotten.
Pictures of the last couple of years are again approached from different perspective.They are inspired strongly by nature.The power of nature,the endless variety of colours, the growth and decay- the majestic humility.The endless changing and transformations. It is all circulation of life, the celebration of nature and its divine powers.Nature outside and nature inside us, the creation which is a part of us and which is forever inspiring......

I was studying architecture for 6 years on Architectural University of Prague / CVUT/ and then continued for another 2 years on Academy of Arts of Prague.

Architecture studies had helped my paintings to reinforced the sense of composition, harmony and order. As architecture is consider the zenith of all artistic disciplines and as such was therefore the most influential inspiration for my free-lance painting carrier.

I had finished my study and had been graduated in 1984.
There was a special clima and special conditions for exhibiting from 1984 to 1989. Czechoslovakia like a communist and totalitarian country had art and her artists under control. To exhibit whatever You want and anywhere You want wasn't obvious in this time.. If You wasn't establishment artist You had few possibilities : either to exhibit in some strange,hidden places, mostly together with some group of the artist with similar, anti system opinion, or / if You were lucky and had good contacts abroad / to find some gallery out of Czechoslovakia. So both did I.
Till 1989 , I took a part in several group exhibitions in Prague called mostly "Conftrontation". I also arranged exhibitions in Amsterodam in 1984 and 1986 due to the good friends in "Iona Stichting" foundation.
After the revolution in 1989 situation has completely changed and I participated in several common or singel exhibitions and symposiums. Except Prague it was also Vienna, Delft, Amsterodam,London ,California.
I use to have an exhibition twice a year in Czech republic during last years.
Already for 6 years I organize sympozium for almost 20 artist near to Prague
