The never-ending story about the decomposition of inanimate matter plays an insanely important role in my painting.
A dynamic, unobtrusive, despite its strong representativeness, periphrastic
and primeval beauty.
My paintings go a long way from formal construction to destruction. The catastrophe, and the randomness that occur in them constitute a multi-faceted metaphor for the existence I experience and interpret. One of the
first stages is designing the skeleton, studying the technical anatomicality of the form, embedding it in the image’s space. The next stage of its superstructure - giving it mass, saturating the form with a
chromatic value, defining the contours and filling them with detail.
The process of destroying the form is the stage that requires the most intense concentration, consumes the greatest amount of time, and arouses the strongest emotions. Transformation, awakening inanimate
matter to life and giving it organic features, happens in my paintings to a large extent instinctively and is directly related to my attempt to tame the passions within me.
