Kasia Sykus

Kasia Sykus is a painter exploring play, movement and imagination through bold abstractions. Her work distills subjects into their simplest forms while keeping them recognizable using shape, colour and brushstroke. Currently, she paints dynamic interpretations of burgers where shifting ingredients and fluid compositions evoke a sense of motion. Influenced by her background in food styling, Kasia embraces spontaneity and the imperfections of the hand-painted process. Her work invites curiosity, reimagining familiar subjects through a lens of joy and exploration.
