Katerina Bim

Katerina Bim is a Russian-based expierenced artist. Her bright emotional philosophical works that are in demand.
Her magical paintings are delicate and decorative and filled with many spiritual meanings and symbols at the same time. The artist combines abstraction with figurative art, expressing through depicting plant motifs the closeness of the human soul to nature and its authentic purity.

Today, in the consumption era, it is difficult for a person to find something to fill the inner emptiness. Where can we get the inspiration? Eternal questions of happiness, truth, vocation, arise with renewed vigor when we stop in the tumult of life and contemplate beauty: the sky, nature, art.
All the answers are in human's soul.
What can make our life full?
In her art, Katerina Bim turns to eternal themes, spiritual and biblical metaphors, questions of meaning and existing. Today there is too much darkness and sorrow in life and art, so she tries to paint with Light.

Katerina Bim is graduated from the University of Printing Arts in Moscow, the Graphics Faculty in 2006.
She has been working as an illustrator, director of animation films and photographer. She also studied theology in a Theological University in Russia for several years.

Katerina's works can be found in private collections in several countries (France, Georgia, Netherlands, USA), some of them are exhibited in art galleries. Katerina has participated in contests and exhibitions in Russia and abroad (London, New York).
In November 2021 she had a solo exhibition in Moscow.
In January 2022 Katerina participated in an exhibition at Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
