Katie Napier

Katie Napier is a West Coast, Contemporary Abstract Artist, living just outside of Vancouver, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Originally from North Vancouver, Katie is a self-taught artist with a background in Graphic Design. Her artwork is held in private collections world-wide and in many corporate collections in the lower mainland.

Often inspired by the ocean near her home and nature in general, her process begin with a palette knife or brush, texture, and a colour palette or concept in mind. Layers of acrylic paint and texture are applied with various types of tools. Katies pieces have a majestic, almost dream-like presence to them, while representing features of the beautiful West Coast.
