My Work Is Fueled By An Interest In The Coexistence Of Natural And Man-Made Elements In Both Rural And Urban Environments. An Identity Of Place Is A Key Characteristic Of My Work, Providing A Unique Perception And Understanding. It Offers A Composite Of Real And Imagined Places, Fused Into Compositions That Could Be Everywhere And Anywhere, Allowing For Many Possible Interpretations. The Compositions Call For The Viewer To Engage With The Subject, And Evoke Nostalgic Associations. My Screen Printing Practice Is Constantly Evolving While I Experiment With And Develop Innovative Methods In The Process.

I Experiment With Screen Printing Techniques, Developing Both Clean And Illustrative Work, Recalling My Graphic Arts Roots. I Am Always Trying To Push Myself In Every Print I Make, Inspired By Changing Environments And My Wanderlust. I Aim To Provide My Audience With A Broad Range Of Topics, Offering Personal Interpretations Of Environmental Themes. The Experimental Way In Which I Am Using Screen Printing Is Similar To A Painter In A Studio, Working With A Variety Of Materials, Manipulating The Flat Surface Of Paper, Adding Illusion And Texture And Areas Of Depth And Complexity In Multiple Layers, Colors, And Application.

I Received My Bachelor Of Fine Art Degree In 2007, Concentrating In Graphic Design, At C.W. Post College/Long Island University, In New York. From 2009-2011, I Studied At The School Of Visual Arts’ Continuing Education Program In New York City Until I Moved To London To Develop My Printmaking Practice Full Time. In 2012 I Received A Masters Degree With Merit At Camberwell College Of Art/University Of The Arts London In Printmaking. In 2013 I Was Granted An Artist Residency At The Women’s Studio Workshop In New York, USA In 2013. In 2015, I Opened Dallas’ First Studio Dedicated Solely To The Practice Of Limited Edition Fine Art Silk Screen Printing.
