Kat Warren is a Utah – based fine artist who has produced abstract, figure and floral paintings recognized both nationally and internationally. Her work currently hangs in homes, businesses and galleries throughout the world.
Born in Louisiana, she has traveled extensively and attended high schools in Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Melbourne Beach, FL and then received a degree in Fine Arts from Louisiana State University.
After a multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2012, she resigned from her employment to commit fully to her art. Currently, her studio support team consists of her husband, who stretches her canvases and constructs her frames, and Tux, the studio cat, who generally sleeps all day.
Her most recent focus has been on developing paintings that explore the complexities of women as well as colorful abstracts that portray and translate the chaos that surrounds us.
