Katy Valansevich

Katherine Valansevich (1984) is an artist originally from Belarus who now lives in Poland. She discovered her passion for malewać already in childhood. She graduated from a pedagogical institute with an artistic focus and devoted much of her professional life to teaching and missionary work.

For many years, painting remained only a hobby, but over time her artworks began to gain recognition, attract buyers, and generate more commissions. A key moment in her artistic journey was the two years she spent in Belgium, which inspired her to begin working as a professional painter.

Her works are distinguished by bright, vibrant colors, light, and purity of form. Katherine primarily creates in the technique of oil painting, though she also uses acrylics and structural pastes. As she says, malowanie is a vessel for the values that live inside a person and find expression in a work of art.
