Kaveri Raina

Kaveri Raina was born and brought up in New Delhi, India. She moved with her family
to Columbus, Ohio in 2000. In May 2011 she graduated with BFA in Painting, concentration in Photography, and minor in Culture and Politics at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).

She was an exhibitions Intern at The Ohio State Urban Arts Space during summer of 2009. In 2007 she was awarded the Ohio Governor's Award of Excellence, Gold and Silver key in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
She is currently interning at the Arctic Studies Center as a photographer, with the Natural Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, in Washington, DC. Kaveri Raina currently lives and works in Baltimore, MD.
