I find it difficult to talk about myself. Especially about the things that would usually interest the people who do not know me.When someone asks me about myself, I usually remember a line from the movie “ Yo ho ho” written by the great poet Valeri Petrov: “A human is most human to the age of 7. Then he starts to rot!” Around that exact age I saw a painter and decided that he was a wizard. I followed him and this is how it all started. (Thank you, master Ninov!)
Painting is life-affirming to me. Is it because it allows me to hide and yet communicate with others, or is it because it lets me negotiate with this frenetic world, or maybe it allows me to nurture and present small morsels of candor and love? I don’t know the answer, but I do know that, in looking for it, I get closer to a place, where I feel pure and good. And I would much like to invite you there…
