Kristina Delgado

I have been a curious creative since childhood and have since swapped out crayons for paint brushes. I paint in acrylics mostly, but at times, oils. I draw in graphite and Prismacolor pencils and pen. From time to time, I will mix medias to come up with a truly one of a kind piece.

My overall style is modern with a surreal twist. When I'm not creating dream-like images, I also take great pride in painting Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)style. In all of my work, I generally use vibrant, and richly pigmented colors.

I am a self-taught painter and drawer and have been exacting my style for many years. I find inspiration in nature, culture, pop culture and the surreal world of dreams. While my style does not resemble realism, I take the time to work on my portraiture and other still life in order to maintain my sense of reality when creating something surreal.
